Two special events and extended hours at the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum highlight the NWCA National Duals wrestling weekend.

 

The Nationals Duals – an event held at the UNI Dome on the campus of Northern Iowa – will take place on Jan. 9-10. This is the fifth year for the event in Cedar Falls.

 

The Gable Museum will host the Northern Iowa Wrestling Booster Club meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6. This event is free and open to the public.

 

On Friday, January 8, Dan Gable will be available at the museum from 2 to 4 p.m. The museum will offer extended hours of operation during the entire National Duals weekend.

 

Schedule of Events

Wednesday, January 6: Northern Iowa Wrestling Booster Club meeting, 7 p.m. This special meeting will be held at the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum. This event is free and open to the public.

 

Friday, January 8: Museum open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Dan Gable autograph signing, 2 p.m. Museum namesake Dan Gable will be at the museum from 2 to 4 p.m. for pictures and autographs.

 

Saturday January 9: Museum open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

Sunday, January 10: Museum open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m; Eastern Iowa Officials Association meeting, 6 p.m.
